The area is currently under a beach hazard, which means conditions may be too dangerous for swimming. High wave action and dangerous swimming conditions are expected. Strong structural and longshore currents are also expected.

Lake Michigan water temperatures:

Stearns Park, Ludington: 57 degrees F

Ludington State Park: 52 degrees F

Summit Park: 58 degrees F

Charles Mears State Park, Pentwater: 66 degrees F

First Street Beach, Manistee: 62 degrees F

Little Sable Point: 55 degrees F

Ludington and Pentwater: Partly cloudy with temperatures reaching 79 degrees F. Humidity: 71%; wind: southwest at 11 mph.

Scottville: Partly cloudy with temperatures reaching 80 degrees F. Humidity: 67%; wind: west-southwest at 14 mph.
