The area is currently under a beach hazard, which means conditions may be too dangerous for swimming. High wave action and dangerous swimming conditions are expected. Strong structural and longshore currents are also expected.

Lake Michigan water temperatures:

Stearns Park, Ludington: 61 degrees F

Ludington State Park: 64 degrees F

Summit Park: 63 degrees F

Charles Mears State Park, Pentwater: 67 degrees F

First Street Beach, Manistee: 65 degrees F

Little Sable Point: 65 degrees F

Ludington: Mostly cloudy with temperatures reaching 73 degrees F. Humidity: 64%; wind: north-northwest at 12 mph.

Scottville and Pentwater: Mostly cloudy with temperatures reaching 76 degrees F. Humidity: 51%; wind: northwest at 12 mph.
