Time to get funky: Groove 101 performs tonight in Scottville

groove 101SCOTTVILLE — Tonight’s performance of Groove 101 is one of the season highlights for the Tuesdays at the Shell series at the Scottville Clown Band Shell. Under the direction of Ted Malt, West Shore Community College associate professor of music, Groove 101 is a combination of some of the area’s top young professional musicians.

The band will perform a variety of jazz, funk and soul and promises to put on a great show. Band members, in addition to Malt on saxophone, include Erin Wall on vocals, Keith Kuczynski on saxophone, John Taranko on trumpet, Craig Avery on keyboard, Steven Plummer on guitar, Jason Hargreaves on bass and David Claire on drums.
