Oktoberfest revitalized

DOWNTOWN LUDINGTON TO PARTNER WITH BELL’S BREWERY ON THE 2013 OKTOBERFEST
CRAFT BEER & MUSIC FESTIVAL

LUDINGTON — Oktoberfest is returning to Ludington this October. The revitalized Oktoberfest Michigan Craft Beer & Music Festival is scheduled for Saturday, Oct. 12 in downtown Ludington. It is being sponsored by The Downtown Ludington Board and Bell’s Brewery of Kalamazoo.

The event will also feature a bike race, and chili walk.

The event will kickoff with the MITTCRIT criterium bike race in the morning, followed
by a chili walk at participating locations and barbecue cook off in the afternoon.The day then cultivates with a craft beer and entertainment tent on Loomis Street with Bells Brewery products, food, and music by The Northern Skies,The Crane Wives, Seth Bernard and the Family Business, and Rootstand.

Further event details, plus MittCrit registration and tickets into the craft beer and music tent will be available for purchase on Thursday, August 1st at www.downtownludington.org.
