LUDINGTON — Memorial Medical Center’s board of directors has approved the officers elected by the medical staff for 2013-14.

Steven Strbich, DO, will continue as the hospital’s chief of staff.  The new vice chief of staff is Darin Gurizzian, DO. Other officers are surgeon Bret Autrey, DO, secretary, and members-at-large David Gadzinski, MD, family practice, and internist Zane Knoer, DO.

 

Steven Strbich, DO, is an emergency services physician and previously served as medical director of the emergency department at Memorial Medical Center in Ludington. He joined the hospital medical staff in 1996. Dr. Strbich received his medical degree from the Ohio University School of Osteopathic Medicine.

Darin

Darin Gurizzian, DO, is a radiologist who joined the medical staff at MMC in 1997. He received his medical degree from the Michigan State University College of Osteopathic Medicine.

Bret Autrey, DO, is a general surgeon with a special interest in advanced laparoscopic and endoscopic surgery. He joined the medical staff at Memorial Medical Center in 2006. Dr. Autrey received his medical degree from the University of Health Sciences College of Osteopathic Medicine in Kansas City, Missouri.

David Gadzinski, MD, is a family practice physician. He joined the medical staff in 1981 and received his medical degree from Wayne State University in Detroit.

Zane Knoer, DO, joined the medical staff in 2002. He received his medical degree from the DesMoines University College of Osteopathic Medicine. In addition to his internal medicine practice, Dr. Knoer is also one of the physicians in the MMC hospitalist program.
