LUDINGTON — The following were sentenced this past week in 79th District Court.

–          Terre Rashida Green, 17, of 504 S. Emily St., Apt. C, Ludington, was found guilty June 29 of driving while unlicensed/never applied. She was sentenced to 20 hours of community service. Conviction is reportable to the Secretary of State (SOS).
–          Rael William Calvin, 36, of 621 E. Melendy St., Ludington, pleaded no contest to disorderly person. He was sentenced to one day in jail with credit for one day served; $285 in fines and costs; and 90 days discretionary jail for one year.
–          Matthew John Truax, 20, of 3550 Stearns Rd., Ludington, was found guilty of minor in possession (MIP), second offense. He was sentenced to $325 in fines and costs; six months probation; and no alcohol/drugs. Conviction is reportable to the Secretary of State (SOS).
–          Cameron Douglas Rand, 25, of 401 E. Ludington Ave., Ludington, was found guilty July 5 of disorderly person, public intoxication. He was sentenced to one day in jail with credit for one day served; and $285 in fines and costs.
–          Ryan Allen Stever, 20, of 6721 W. Hermitage, Ludington, was found guilty July 5 of under 21 – – purchase, consume and/or possess. He was sentenced to five days in jail with credit for two days served; $335 fines and costs; probation through Dec. 31, 2013; no alcohol/drugs; and random preliminary breath tests (PBTs). Conviction is reportable to SOS.
–          Alkus Charles-Danny O’Connor, 38, of 926 Lumbard, Redlands, Calif., pleaded no contest July 10 to aggravated assault. He was sentenced to 153 days in jail with credit for 153 days served; $580 in fines and costs; OP treatment; one year discretionary jail for two years; must reside with sister until returning to California; no contact with victim; and must not possess any weapons. One count of habitual offender, fourth conviction, and one count of assault with a dangerous weapon, felonious assault, were dismissed.
–          Josue Guzman-Lopez, 19, of 721 E. Loomis St., Ludington, was found guilty July 10 of assault and battery. He was sentenced to OP treatment; $580 in fines and costs; 93 days discretionary jail for one year; no contact with victim; random PBTs; Human Immunodeficiency Virus (HIV) test; and alcohol and drug testing with counselors. On count of third-degree CSC was dismissed.
–          Loretta Lucine Surplice, 19, of 4672 W. Decker Rd., Ludington, was found guilty July 10 of second-offense domestic violence. She was sentenced to 98 days in jail with credit for 98 days served; $180 in fines and costs; OP treatment; one year discretionary jail for two years; may only live in court-approved housing; and 45 hours community service.
–          Corey Evan Carsten, 27, of 3540 N. Sherman Rd., Ludington, was found guilty July 8 of disorderly person, public intoxication. He was sentenced to 30 days in jail with credit for 21 days served; $285 in fines and costs; 90 days discretionary jail for one year; no alcohol/drugs; and random PBTs.
–          Kira Marie Petersen, 20, of 1008 N. Brookridge, Ludington was found guilty July 11 of second offense MIP. She was sentenced to $335 in fines and costs; and no alcohol/drugs. Conviction is reportable to SOS.
–          Kyle Scott Janicki, 22, of 407 McKee St., Manistee, was found guilty July 11 of failure to display a valid license. He was sentenced to $275 in fines and costs. Conviction is reportable to SOS.

Dismissals

–          Trenton Cody Heath, 23, of 207 N. Columbia Ave., Scottville, one count of operating a motor vehicle without security was dismissed July 2.
–          Jeremy Tristian Woollett, 26, of 1336 N. Rath Ave., Ludington, one count of trespassing was dismissed July 10.
