LUDINGTON — Lake Michigan Carferry has canceled its Thursday sailing of the S.S. Badger due to potentially high waves. The marine forecast is calling for high winds and 8- to 12-foot waves with occasional 16-foot waves.
However, an extra crossing has taken place tonight to meet the transportation needs of wind turbine sections.
“The safety and comfort of our passengers will always be our first priority,” said Terri Brown, director of marketing and media relations. “We regret any inconvenience that this cancellation may have caused.
Anyone with questions about reservations may call 231-845-5555 or visit www.ssbadger.com.
