HAMLIN TWP. — One man was taken to the hospital this afternoon following a two-car crash at the intersection of Jebavy Drive and Jagger Road. The accident occurred about 2:50 p.m. when a man driving a Buick LaSabre was heading east on Jagger Road when he allegedly went through the stop sign causing a north-bound vehicle to crash into it.

The other vehicle, a Chevy Malibu, was driven by Devon Hanson, 25 of Ludington. The driver of the Buick has not yet been identified. It appeared he may have been delivering newspapers, based on the newspapers in the vehicle.

The driver of the Buick was taken to Memorial Medical Center by Life EMS. Mason County Sheriff’s Office personnel, Hamlin Township and Ludington fire and rescue units responded to the scene.

The crash is currently under investigation.
