LUDINGTON — The following were sentenced this week in 79th District Court:

– Arthur Frederick Bennett III, 50, of 6000 E. Free Soil Rd., Free Soil, was found guilty April 23 of attempted failure to comply with reporting duties (sex offender). He was sentenced to $580 in fines and costs and one year discretionary jail for two years.

– Tricia Rene Axel, 36, of 3630 Hogan Rd., Pentwater, was found guilty April 23 of retail fraud, second degree. She was sentenced to two days in jail with credit for two days served; $580 in fines and costs; one year discretionary jail for one year; and must attend Economic Crime Program.

– Jamie Jo Seymour, 35, of 107 Castle Dr., Lansing, was found guilty April 23 of retail fraud, second degree. She was sentenced to two days in jail with credit for two days served; $580 in fines and costs; one year discretionary jail for one year; and must attend Economic Crime Program.

– Jeri Lyn Talmadge, 52, of 508 E. Danaher St., Ludington, was found guilty April 23 of domestic violence. She was sentenced to two days in jail with credit for two days served; $580 in fines and costs; 93 days discretionary jail for one year; must have Hands-Down evaluation and follow recommendations; and no contact with victim.

– Jose Fernando Ramos-Martinez, 38, of 2489 N. US-31, Scottville, was found guilty April 25 of driving while license expired. He was sentenced to $225 in fines and costs and 90 days discretionary jail for one year. Conviction reportable to the Secretary of State.

– Patrick Allen Shira, 20, homeless, was found guilty of disorderly person and was sentenced to two days in jail with credit for two days served; 90 days discretionary jail for one year; must contact community mental health to schedule counseling sessions immediately; and fines and costs are suspended.

– Christopher Joseph Watson, 30, of 703 E. Dowland St., Ludington, was found guilty of driving while license suspended/revoked/denied. He was sentenced to $285 in fines and costs; 24 months probation; and 30 days discretionary jail for two years. Conviction reportable to the Secretary of State.

– Gerald Nathaniel Smith, 43, of Idewild, Michigan (no street address listed), was found guilty of failure to display a valid license. He was sentenced to $275 in fines and costs. Conviction reportable to the Secretary of State.

– Adam Robert Madsen, 29, of 2995 W. Townline Rd., Ludington, was found guilty April 30 of driving while license suspended. He was sentenced to $285 fines and costs. Conviction reportable to the Secretary of State.

– Jaquelyn Marie Koegler, C/O 1535 Betty Ave., Ludington, was found guilty April 29 of driving while license suspended. She was sentenced to $285 in fines and costs; 12 months probation; and 93 days discretionary jail for one year. Conviction reportable to the Secretary of State.

– Renae Keri Olszewski, 48, of 8914 W. Central Park Blvd., Baldwin, was found guilty April 29 of driver transporting open intoxicants in vehicle. She was sentenced to $265 in fines and costs. Conviction reportable to the Secretary of State.

– Blake Scott Schuiling, 27, of 813 N. Lavinia St., Ludington, was found guilty of disorderly person. He was sentenced to one day in jail with credit for one day served; 12 months probation; $265 in fines and costs; 90 days discretionary jail for one year; and no alcohol.

– Raymond Harold Snay, Jr., 46, of 107 ½ E. Foster St., Ludington, was found guilty April 30 of controlled substance – possession of marijuana. He was sentenced to 27 days in jail with credit for 27 served; 93 days discretionary jail for one year; and no alcohol/drugs.

– Mary Lee Quinn, 40, of 932 N. Schoenherr Rd., Custer, was found guilty of driving while license suspended/revoked/denied. She was sentenced to $580 in fines and costs; and one year discretionary jail for two years. Conviction reportable to the Secretary of State.

– Sheri Kay Gajeski, 37, of 769 Hardwick St., SE, Kentwood, was found guilty April 30 of operating while impaired by liquor. She was sentenced to one day in jail with credit for one day served; $1,145 in fines and costs; must complete Alcohol Highway Safety Education (AHSE); 93 days discretionary jail for one year; and must attend next session of Victims’ Impact Panel. Conviction reportable to the Secretary of State.

– John Henry Bloom, Jr., 34, C/O 3614 Indian Trail Dr., Hersey, MI, was found guilty April 30 of domestic violence. He was sentenced to six days in jail with credit for six days served; $580 in fines and costs; outpatient treatment; 93 days discretionary jail for two years; no alcohol/drugs; subject to random preliminary breath tests (PBTs); and must attend Alcoholics Anonymous (AA) three times per week for two years.

– Scott Michael Cooper, 21, of 911 E. Pine St., Ludington, was found guilty April 30 of operating with blood alcohol content. He was sentenced to 90 days in jail with work/school release permitted; AHSE; $1,345 in fines and costs; 180 days discretionary jail for two years; no alcohol/drugs; subject to random PBTs; and must attend AA twice a week for two years. One count of operating while intoxicated or under a controlled substance was dismissed.

– Elrico James Brooks, 33, of 648 Griggs St., Grand Rapids, was found guilty April 30 of malicious destruction of personal property. He was sentenced to 45 days in jail with credit for 22 served; 93 days discretionary jail for one year; no alcohol/drugs; random PBTs; and $580 in fines and costs. One count of second-offense domestic violence was dismissed.
