Pinewood derby

SCOTTVILLE — On Saturday Scottville Cub Scout Pack 4144 had its annual Pinewood Derby.  There were 17 racers this year, a bit down from previous years, but still a great time for everybody involved.  One of the favorite parts is when the scouts get to vote for who has the best design for their car.  Only the scouts get to vote making it a real peer appreciation award for the winner.  This year’s “Best Design” winner was Logan Kibby with his batman themed car.  After some very close races we had our winners and they were third place, Ryan Moorlag; second place, Chase Henry; third place, Monty Saunders.  There were several tables with snacks and finger foods for everyone to enjoy as well.
