Classic car show and Back to the Fifties event in Ludington

LUDINGTON — The Downtown Ludington Special Events Committee is organizing a Back to the Fifties festival scheduled for June 7 – 9. Local car enthusiasts are invited to participate in the free event on Sunday, June 9 from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m. on Filer Street between Rath and Robert.

The three day festival, sponsored by House of Flavors, will celebrate 50’s sock hops with 50’s music and a free ice cream give away to the first 10,000 people on Friday night. Then a Beach Bash with volleyball tournaments, sand castle building contests and entertainment tent on the beach Saturday. The weekend will round out on Sunday with a local car show plus special guests Back to the Bricks car club from Flint with entertainment by Delilah DeWylde and the Lost Boys.
