51st Circuit Court

LUDINGTON — The following were sentenced this week in 51st Circuit Court:

–         Kayla Marie Parish, 20, of 302 Loomis St., Apt. 1, Ludington, was found guilty March 12 of financial transaction device – retain without consent. She was sentenced April 16 to 270 days in jail with credit for 130 days served; must serve six months up front with the balance to be served at the court’s discretion; 24 months probation; fines, no contact with victims or co-defendant; fines, costs and restitution totaling $1,103; restitution is joint several with co-defendant.
–         Jason Lee Brady, 35, of 9860 N. US-31, Free Soil, was found guilty March 6 of domestic violence third offense, breaking and entering/entry without permission and habitual offender third conviction. He was sentenced to 365 days in jail with credit for 75 days served; 90 days in jail with credit for 75 days served; must serve six months up front with the balance to be served at the court’s discretion; fines, costs and restitution totaling $4,719.53; 24 months probation; and no contact with the victim.
–         Enrice Domingo Morin, 18, of 3897 Yorkland Dr., Apt. 11, Comstock Park, was found guilty March 6 of breaking and entering a building with intent and attempted arson of real property. He was sentenced April 16 to two concurrent one-year jail terms with credit for 91 days served; serve 10 months up front with the balance to be served at the court’s discretion; fines, costs and restitution totaling $16,161; restitution is joint and several with co-defendants; and 24 months probation. Two counts of arson of real property were dismissed.
–         Michael Thomas Martinez, 28, of 207 E. Danaher St., Apt. 2, Ludington, was found guilty March 12 of domestic violence and assault – weapon. He was sentenced April 16 to one jail term of 93 days and one jail term of 330 days with credit for 114 days served for both terms; serve four months up front with the balance to be served at the court’s discretion; fines and costs totaling $598; 24 months probation; and serve four months on an alcohol tether. One count of assault – weapon was dismissed.
–         April Lynn Lange, 39, of 3776 N. Jebavy Dr., Ludington, was found guilty March 19 of financial transaction device – retain without consent. She was sentenced April 16 to 270 days in jail with credit for three days served; serve six months up front with the balance to be served at the court’s discretion; fines, costs and restitution totaling $1,103; 12 months probation; and restitution is joint and several with co-defendant; no contact with victims or co-defendant. One count of habitual offender second conviction was dismissed.
