Earth day at Ludington library

LUDINGTON — Children of all ages are invited to the Mason County District Library to celebrate Earth Day. On Saturday, April 20, 11 a.m. and 1 p.m. in Ludington, young environmentalists are invited to learn all about Michigan wildlife.

Live frogs, snakes, a great horned owl, and other critters from Wild Things will be available to get acquainted. There will be fur, feathers and bones to examine as well. In addition, on Saturday, April 20, 10:00 a.m. to 3 p.m. in Ludington, kids can create Junk Art. AFFEW’s Earth Day Celebration begins at noon Saturday, April 20 right across the parking lot from the library at Community Church. All Mason County District Library programs are free. Children under age 8 must be accompanied by an adult.
