LUDINGTON — The following proceedings took place this week in 51st Circuit Court.

Sentences.
– Michael David Vega, 22, 2581 E. May Gaw Ne Quong, Manistee, was found guilty on Jan. 22 for larceny. He was sentenced to 180 days jail, serving three months up front and remainder at court’s discretion; 18 months probation; $488 in fines and costs.
– Bradley Elmer Luft, 49, 308 N. Lewis St., Ludington, was found guilty on Jan. 8 for assault with a weapon and domestic violence. He was sentenced to 365 days in jail, concurrent, for each count, serving seven months up front and remainder at court’s discretion; 24 months probation; $1,399 in fines and costs.
– William Edwin Richardson, 56, 5854 N. Anderson Rd., Ludington, was found guilty on Jan. 15 for controlled substance manufacturing/delivery. He was sentenced to 180 days in jail, serving two months up front and remainder at court’s discretion; 12 months probation; $448.
– Richard Paul Hernandez, 29, 206 Fifth St., Ludington, was found guilty on Jan. 15 for larceny and habitual offender third count. He was sentenced to 365 days in jail, serving eight months up front and remainder at court’s discretion; 24 months probation; $518 fines and costs.
– Timothy Charles Towns, 54, PO Box 871, Ludington, was found guilty on Jan. 15 for assaulting/resisting/obstructing a police officer and disorderly person, drunk. He was sentenced to 365 days in jail for the first count and 93 days in jail for the other, serving five months up front; 24 months probation; $548 in fines and costs.
– Kenneth Larry Nickerson, 48, 308 N. Rowe St., Apt. 4, Ludington, was found guilty on Jan. 15 for failure to register as a sex offender, habitual offender third county. He was sentenced to 365 days in jail; 24 months probation; $498.

Dismissals
– Douglas John-Edward Miszewski, 20, 5746 E. Dewey Rd., Fountain, assault and battery.
– Nicholas Allen Lowing, 17, 2543 N. Peterson Rd., Ludington, retail fraud third degree.
