Circuit Court
LUDINGTON — The following was sentenced this week in 51st Circuit Court:
– Laquentin Deshawn Simpson, 28, of 1476 Kingsley St., Muskegon, was found guilty Feb. 13 of police officer – fleeing, third degree. Sentence: 365 days in jail with credit for two days served, must serve five months up front with balance to be served at court’s discretion, two years probation and $498 in fines and costs. One count of operating while license suspended, second offense, was dismissed.

District Court
LUDINGTON — The following were sentenced this week in 79th District Court:
– Whitney Leigh Petersen, 18, of 608 N. Brookridge, Ludington, was found guilty Feb. 12 of operating under the influence of liquor, underage/BAC (blood alcohol content) .02-.07. Sentence: $580 in fines and costs, must have a substance abuse evaluation and follow the recommendations, and 20 hours of community service. Conviction is reportable to the Secretary of State.
– Kimberly Michelle Jacobsen, 45, of 9016 E US-10, Branch, was found guilty Feb. 12 of retail fraud, second degree. Sentence: 90 days in jail, one year discretionary jail for two years, $740 in fines and costs. Jail term is concurrent with time imposed in another matter.
– Tonya Marie Shetfield, 28, of 410 S. Washington Ave., Apt. 1, Ludington, was found guilty Feb. 12 of retail fraud, third degree. Sentence: 93 days in jail, credit given for time served since Jan. 17. Jail term is concurrent with time already imposed.
– Matthew James Domke, 42, of 1603 Emerson Rd., Herron, Mich., was found guilty Feb. 12 of operating while under the influence of liquor. Sentence: two days in jail with credit for two days served, 93 days discretionary jail for one year, $1,145 in fines and costs and AHSE (Alcohol Highway Safety Education). Conviction reportable to the Secretary of State.
– Goldie Anna Hajdu, 36, of 4604 S. Pere Marquette Highway, Ludington, was found guilty Feb. 12 of reckless driving and chemical agents prohibited uses. Sentence: eight days in jail, 93 days discretionary jail for two years, $955 in fines and costs, outpatient treatment and no alcohol/drugs. Conviction is reportable to the Secretary of State.

Dismissal
– Todd Lane Johnson, 39, of 624 W. Hansen Rd., Scottville, criminal sexual conduct, third degree.
