Grandparents/kinship group now offers evening sessions

Mason county Grandparents Raising Grandchildren and Other Kinship Parents has changed its meeting schedule.

The group will hold its fourth Tuesday of the month meeting at Grace Episcopal Church on James Street in Ludington. The meeting will be from 6 to 7:30 p.m.

“We are hoping more families will be able to join us if we have an evening meeting,” said Jan Wagner of the group. The first meeting will be Feb. 26. There will be a pot luck of chili and desert. Those planning to attend should let Wagner.

The second Tuesday of the month meeting will still be held from 1:30 to 3 p.m. at the Mason County Reform Church at the corner of U.S. 10-31 and Amber Road in Amber Township.

“If you or someone you know are raising a Grandchild or relative child please join us,” Wagner said.
