LUDINGTON — The following court cases took place in 79th District Court this week:

– Taylor Margaret Kolaski, 17, of 2383 S. Meyers Rd., Ludington was found guilty Feb. 7 of under 21 — purchase, consume, possession. Sentence: nine months probation; 20 hours community service; $265 in fines/costs; no alcohol/drugs; random PBTs (preliminary breath tests).
– Logan James O’Brien, 21, of 716 E. Filer St., Ludington, was found guilty Feb. 5 of domestic violence. A charge of assault with a dangerous weapon (felonious assault) was dismissed. Sentence: 93 days in jail with credit for 93 days served, fines/costs of $580, two years court supervision, outpatient treatment, no contact with victim, must not possess any dangerous weapons, no alcohol/drugs, random PBTs.
– Danielle Shante Banks, 27, of 406 Sibben St., Apt. 2, Manistee, was found guilty Feb. 8 of driving while license suspended/revoked/denied. Sentence: 60 days in jail with credit for 60 days served, fines/costs $740, vehicle forfeit/immobilization, one year discretionary jail for two years.
 
Dismissals
– Joseph Kevin Southward, 20, 2162 S. Ravenna Rd., Ravenna, driver transporting open intoxicants in vehicle, first offense.
– Donald Allen Chamberlin, 42, of 4705 E. Fisher Rd., Custer, operating – license suspended/revoked/denied.
