The kids were then transported by bus to Wilson Hill Park boat launch and fished on Hamlin Lake.

“Once they arrived at Wilson Hill boat launch each kid received a backpack bag loaded with an ice fishing starter kit with a bait cup and headed out onto the ice to again meet up with the professional ice fishermen to try their hands at a little fishing,” Bryant said. “Fish were caught, experience was gained and frozen smiles were abundant.  A great time had by all.”

“We had great sponsors,” Bryant said. They included Johnson & Johnson Painting of Ludington, Schooley Fishing Poles, John Vengen, Ludington Paint & Glass, Seth Earl and the Cutting Edge. “A special thanks to Ged Strzynski and all of the volunteers who made this possible.”
