LUDINGTON — The following are the most recent sentences from 79th District Court.

– Eduardo Velez, 24, 3241 N. 72nd Ave., Apt. 47, Hart, was found guilty on Jan. 22 for impaired driving. He was sentenced to 1 day jail with 93 days discretionary jail for 1 year; must attend victims impact panel, must receive outpatient treatment and pay $1,145 in fines.
– Jack Daniel Willoughby, 24, 618 1/2 E. Melenda St., Ludington, was found guilty on Jan. 22 for possession of a weapon in a weapons free zone. Sentence: 5 days jail with 93 days discretionary jail for 1 year; $580 fines. A charge of carrying a concealed weapon was dismissed.
– Donald Edward McKay Jr., 50, 321 N. Lewis St., Ludington, was found guilty on Jan. 22 of operating while impaired by liquor. Sentence: 2 days jail with 93 days discretionary jail for 1 year; must attend victims impact panel; must attend alcohol highway safety education; $920 fines.
– Ronald Martin Polcin, 58, 4294 W. Conrad Rd., Ludington, was found guilty on Jan. 22 for impaired driving. Sentence: 1 day jail, 93 days discretionary jail for 1 year, substance abuse counseling, must attend alcohol highway safety education, $1,145 in fines.
– Gary Martin Ventrice Jr., 31, 4899 N. Ford Lake Rd., Fountain, was found guilty on Jan. 22 for operating an off road vehicle while intoxicated. Sentence: 2 days jail, 93 days discretionary jail for 1 year; must attend the next session of victims impact panel; ORV privileges are suspended for six months; must attend alcohol highway safety education; $1,245. Count of operating a vehicle while intoxicated was dismissed.
– Chad Mitchell Betts, 36, 8411 Swan Ave., Newaygo, was found guilty on Jan. 22 for retail fraud third degree. Sentence: 93 days discretionary jail for 1 year; $706.46.
– Benjamin Lee Towers, 34, 707 N. Lavinia St., Ludington, was found guilty on Jan. 22 for OUIL second offense. Sentence: 14 days jail, 1 year discretionary jail for 2 years, must attend impact weekend, 180 days of alcohol tether, must attend Alcoholics Anonymous 2 times per week; must remove name from title of vehicle within 30 days; must attend outpatient treatment.
– Jason Daniel Blough, 29, 713 Diana St., was found guilty on Jan. 23 was found guilty on Jan. 23 of allowing a person to drive in violation. Sentence: 90 days discretionary jail for 12 months, $335 fine.
– Frank Lewis Case, 17, 105 Fifth St., Ludington, was found guilty on Jan. 23 for minor in possession of alcohol second offense. Sentence: 1 year probation; 25 hours community service; must attend victim impact panel; must re-enroll in school and attend without fail; must abide by 7 p.m. curfew seven days per week until complying with order of the court; must report to the court on Friday, Jan. 24 to set programs and payment plan on fines/costs; $335 fines.
– Jesse Allen Outwater, 32, 733 N. Benson Rd., Fountain, was found gulity on Jan. 24 of disorderly conduct/disturbing the peace. Sentence: 90 days discretionary jail for 1 year; $265 fines/costs; probation.
– Kayleigh Lynn Clark, 23, 907 S. Madison St., Ludington, was found guilty on Jan. 24 of trespassing. Sentence: 30 days discretionary jail for 1 year; may perform 15 hours community service for credit of $142 balance of $265 fines/costs.
– Christopher Kenneth Hance, 41, 1851 W. Wilson Lane, Hamlin Twp., was found guilty of operating a vehicle while intoxicated. Sentence: 1 day jail, 93 days discretionary jail for 1 year; must attend victim impact panel; must attend alcohol highway safety education; $1,245 fines/costs.
– Edward Norman Pomorski, 46, 810 E. Filer St., Ludington, was found guilty for allowing a person to drive in violation. Sentence: $335 fines/costs.
