Morning accident

HAMLIN TWP — A 44-year old man received minor injuries following a single vehicle crash at the intersection if Decker and Sherman roads this morning.

Emergency personnel on the scene said the man told them he had a diabetic emergency and became incoherent. He was traveling east in Decker when his truck slide off the road.

Side roads remain slippery and drivers are urged to use caution.

Hamlin Twp. and Ludington fire departments were called to the scene along with Life EMS, Mason County Sheriff’s Office and Michigan State Police.
