2 injured on US 10

PERE MARQUETTE TWP. — Two people were injured following a two vehicle crash on US 10 east of Nelson Road Tuesday.

The crash occurred around 11:30 a.m. after an eastbound pickup apparently tried to make a left turn into the path of a westbound truck.

The single occupant if the eastbound vehicle was uninjured while the two occupants if the other vehicle were taken by Life EMS to Memorial Medical Center.

Mason County Sheriff’s Office, Michigan State Police, PM Fire Dept. and Ludington Fire Dept. responded in addition to Life.
