Citizen journalists and bloggers wanted

MasonCountyPress.com is looking for citizen reporters and bloggers. Since this site was started 11 months ago it has grown tremendously in popularity. It is new and immediate and completely local, not only in its news coverage but in its ownership.

It’s time to kick it up a few notches. This is a community news site and we need more contributors from the community. We need eyes and ears around the county letting us know what’s going on. Contributions can be news stories, notices of upcoming events or neighborhood blogs. Ideally, for blogs, we would like consistent contributions. Sports stories, scores and/or photographs are also welcome, from all sports and all levels.
