Family crafts and discovery club at library

FAMILY FUN CRAFTS AT MASON COUNTY DISTRICT LIBRARY

At the Mason County District Library in Scottville Tuesday, November 6 at 3:00 pm, the Family Fun Craft series features Thanksgiving Table Centerpieces.  Families are invited to drop in any time between 3:00 and 5:30 pm.  Children under age 8 must be accompanied by an adult.  ALL Mason County District Library programs are free of charge.   Family Craft – 1st Tuesday – 3:00-6:00 pm – Scottville Library.

November 6 – Thanksgiving Table Centerpieces

December 4 – Foil Christmas Tree Ornaments

DISCOVERY CLUB AT MASON COUNTY DISTRICT LIBRARY

Children in grades 2-5 are invited to join Discovery Club at the Mason County District Library in Ludington, 1st Wednesdays at 4:00 pm.  Retired teacher Kathy Radtke will lead students as they explore our world through books, games, art, and other activities.

November 7 – Flags for Veterans

Help create a giant U.S. wall flag in honor of our veterans.  Library patrons who are veterans will be invited to sign their names throughout the month of November.  Snack – decorate red, white, and blue cookies.

December 5 – Ring the Bell for Salvation Army

Bring your warm coat, hat, and mittens or gloves!  We will sing along with holiday music as we ring the Salvation Army bell to collect money for needy families.  Bring ideas for other ways we can support members of our community.  Snack – hot chocolate with a candy cane.

1st Wednesday at 4:00 pm Ludington Library

All Mason County District Library programs are free.  Children under age 8 must be accompanied by an adult.
