Easter egg decorating contest at the library

March 6, 2012

LUDINGTON — Mason County District Library will host an Easter egg decorating contest Thursday, March 22, 4 to 6 p.m. at the Ludington library, and all day March 23, 24 and 25.  Anyone interested is invited to help raise money for children’s programs at the Ludington library by creating a decorated foam Easter egg.

Participants may drop by the library any time between 4 p.m. Thursday, March 22 and 4 p.m. Sunday, March 25 to create their egg.  All supplies and materials for the “eggs” will be provided by the library.

Completed Easter eggs will be displayed at the Ludington library from March 27 until April 17.  Easter eggs will be judged by the $1 per vote method.  The decorated “egg” with the most votes wins the contest.  Vote money will help to pay for children’s programming.  Call 231-843-8465 for information.  Children under age 8 must be accompanied by an adult.  All Mason County District Library events are free of charge.
