MCP: Outdoors/Recreation Contributor.

Mason County Press is seeking an outdoors/recreation contributor to provide weekly content for MCP and its affiliate sites, Oceana County Press and Manistee County Press.

This is a freelance position that is paid per contribution.

To be considered, the candidate should:

• Have professional experience in journalistic writing and photography/and or video.
• Be self motivated, and reliable. Must adhere to deadlines.
• Knowledge and interest in outdoors activities such as hunting, fishing, boating, kayaking, skiing, hiking, etc.
• Geographical knowledge of Mason, Manistee, Oceana, and Lake counties.
• Access to technological equipment such as a computer, smart phone, camera.
• Reliable transportation.
