Scottville police department was busier in 2012

SCOTTVILLE — The Scottville Police Department had a busy 2012. During the city commission meeting Monday, Police Chief Mark Barnett presented the department’s activity report. Police responded to 1,868 incidences, compared to 1,549 in 2011 and 1,128 in 2010. Of those incidences, 1,004 (53%) were self initiated by the department, compared to 727 (46%) in 2011. Ludington settles lawsuit with Rotta
