Feds shut down Mexican restaurant

AMBER TWP. — El Rancho Restaurant, 4743 W. U.S. 10, was raided Monday afternoon by federal agents. The restaurant has been subsequently closed. Mason County Sheriff Kim Cole said that deputies from his office assisted federal officers from the Internal Revenue Service, Homeland Security and “other federal branches.” He did not know the purpose of the raid. Scottville employees to receive pay increases

SCOTTVILLE — Scottville city employees will receive their first pay increase in five years if the city commission approves tonight. Scottville residents reminded of parking restrictions

SCOTTVILLE — The City of Scottville’s winter parking ordinance is in effect. Parking on any city street between 2 a.m. and 7 a.m. is prohibited, to allow for snowplowing. Special parking permits are required for downtown residents to park in the city’s parking lots.
