Washington Avenue bridge opens

LUDINGTON — The replacement of the Washington Avenue bridge is almost complete. City Manager John Shay reported to the City Council Monday, in a memo, that most of the concrete curb and gutter sidewalks and bridge deck have been poured. The new streetlights on the bridge have also been installed. The bridge, however, is open.

Bryant Avenue to receive repairs

LUDINGTON — The City of Ludington has received a $375,000 Small Urban grant to reconstruct Bryant Road between North Lakeshore Drive and North Rath Avenue. The funeral for Garrett Ian Lake is scheduled for Tuesday, Nov. 5 at 11 a.m. at Cornerstone Baptist Church in Pere Marquette Township.
