Hospital volunteers to hold book sale.

LUDINGTON — Spectrum Health Ludington Hospital volunteers are hosting a Books Unlimited Sale on November 13 and 14 from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. in the Medical Office Building lobby. Books and other gift ideas at up to 70% off the suggested retail price. Proceeds support the Ludington Hospital volunteers’ $125,000 pledge toward the helistop and family consult room in the ER.

45% of Mason County voters turn out for general election.

LUDINGTON — Forty-five percent of Mason County’s registered voters turned out for the mid-term general election. A total of 10,166 out of 22,574 registered voters cast their ballots in the county’s 25 electoral precincts.
