Cook, Gurzynski win Hamlin trustee seats

HAMLIN TOWNSHIP — Christopher Cook and Johnaine Gurzynski won the Hamlin Township Board of Trustees seats during Tuesday’s Republican primary election. Miller elected Amber Township treasurer

AMBER TOWNSHIP — Jeannie Miller was elected Amber Township treasurer Tuesday during the Republican primary election. Miller defeated incumbent Connie Anderson 262-150 (unofficially). Dr. Lewis Squires was re-elected to the Mason County Board of Commissioners representing District 4 during the Tuesday Republican primary election. Squires defeated opponent David Holden 501 to 268. Stakenas, Miszewski win Sherman Township Republican trustee nominations

SHERMAN TOWNSHIP — William Stakenas and Chelsea Miszewski won the Republican nominations for the Sherman Township Board of Trustees race Tuesday. Unofficial results were: Stakenas, 85; Miszewski, 77, and Michael Genung, 66. Stakenas and Miszewski will face off against Democrat Lori Cregg for the two open seats in the November General Election.
