Soccer coach charged with CSC

LUDINGTON — Todd Lane Johnson, 39, 624 W. Hansen Road, Amber Township, has been charged by the Mason County Prosector’s office for criminal sexual conduct third degree. Johnson was the Mason County Central girls varsity soccer coach until he resigned prior to the beginning of the current school year. Bacon’s preliminary exam adjourned

LUDINGTON — The preliminary court examination of Robert Crane Bacon has been adjourned, according to Prosecutor Paul Spaniola. Bacon is accused of embezzling over $96,000 from Mason County Eastern schools while he was employed as the district’s business manager. See related story.   The prelim has been rescheduled for Feb. 27 at 11:15 a.m.
