Father’s Day strawberry social

LUDINGTON — The Ludington Optimist Club will hold its annual Father’s Day Strawberry Social Sunday from 1 to 4 p.m. at the Kiwanis Band Shell in Ludington City Park. Price is $4 for adults and $2 for kids. All proceeds help support programs for area youth.

Man arrested for sexual conduct with 5-year-old

LUDINGTON — A 22-year-old Ludington man has been charged with criminal sexual conduct second degree in connection with an incident with a 5-year-old female. 7 Ludington teachers lose jobs

LUDINGTON — Ludington Area Schools board of education has chosen to lay off seven teachers for the upcoming school year. The board met in a special meeting this morning.
