The National Weather Service in Grand Rapids has issued a severe thunderstorm warning for Mason and Lake counties until 10:15 p.m. At 9:29 p.m., a severe thunderstorm was located near Free Soil moving east at 40 mph. Wind gusts of up to 60 mph with quarter size hail is likely.
