Fire destroys Hamlin Township house.  HAMLIN TOWNSHIP — Fire destroyed a small house at 2280 N. Lakeshore Dr. Friday evening. Hamlin Township Fire Department and Pere Marquette Township Fire Department were dispatched to the scene at 8:03 p.m. The first firefighter on scene reported the house was engulfed in flames on two sides.
