Ludington library to host book sale

LUDINGTON — The Mason County District Library is holding its annual Friends of the Library Used Book Sale Friday, July 11 through Sunday, July 13.

Proceeds from the sale go toward programming and events at the Ludington and Scottville libraries. In the past, up to $10,000 has been raised, which allows the library district to provide a variety of events for children and families including magic shows, reptile shows, tie-dye days, inflatable StarLab Planetarium, lectures, musicians, craft classes and much more.

The Friends of the Library also purchases books to give away for children’s and teens’ birthdays, holidays, and other special library events.

The sale times are: Friday, July 11, 4 to 8 p.m.; Saturday, July 12, 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.; Sunday, July 13, noon to 2 p.m.
