Scottville man arrested on cocaine, LSD charges

SHERMAN TOWNSHIP — A 25-year-old Scottville man was arrested on charges of possession with intent to deliver cocaine and LSD possession following a 911 call Friday, June 20, shortly after 6:30 p.m. in the 2500 block of North US 31, said Mason County Sheriff Kim Cole.

“During the investigation of that call, it was learned there was suspected cocaine in the residence prepared for delivery,” said Sheriff Cole.

The suspect was lodged in the Mason County Jail.

Friday, June 20, 2025:

• 10:15 a.m., (Mason County Sheriff’s Office), two-vehicle crash, no injury, Pere Marquette Highway south of US 10, Pere Marquette Township.
• 2:34 p.m., (MCSO), car/deer crash, no injury, US 31 south of Free Soil Road, Free Soil Township.
• 6:05 p.m., (MCSO), a 33-year-old Ludington man was arrested on two outstanding Mason County warrants — a felony warrant for failure to appear for an assault charge and a misdemeanor warrant for failure to appear on a drug charge, US 10 and Jebavy Drive, Pere Marquette Township.
• 9 p.m., (MCSO), a 43-year-old Ludington man was arrested for bond violation following a 911 call of a disturbance at a residence on Brandy Lane, Pere Marquette Township. While investigating the call, it was discovered the suspect was out on bond and was not to be at the residence. He was lodged in the Mason County Jail.
• 9:59 p.m., (MCSO), a 34-year-old Scottville man was arrested on an outstanding Mason County warrant for probation violation following a traffic stop, Reinberg Road and State Street, City of Scottville.
• 10:38 p.m., (MCSO), alarm activation, Amber Township.

Saturday, June 21, 2025:

• 3:41 a.m., (Ludington Police Department), a 46-year-old Ludington man was arrested for illegal entry, 400 block of South James Street, City of Ludington. He  was lodged in the Mason County Jail.
• 5:58 a.m., (MCSO), two-vehicle hit-and-run crash, no injury, US 10 and Bean Road, Custer Township. Deputies are seeking a 25-year-old Pentwater man who reportedly fled the scene following the crash. A passenger in the vehicle — a 25-year-old Fountain man — was arrested for probation violation after he was found to reportedly be intoxicated, which is a violation of his probation. 
• 8:35 p.m., (MCSO), a 48-year-old Davisbury, Michigan man was arrested for operating while intoxicated following a traffic stop, Rath Avenue and Filer Street, City of Ludington.

Sunday, June 22, 2025:

• 10:41 p.m., (MCSO), a 40-year-old Ludington man was arrested for probation violation after he was found to be intoxicated and on probation, Harrison Street and Ludington Avenue, City of Ludington.
• 11:32 p.m., (MCSO), assault, 5700 block of West Johnson Road, Pere Marquette Township. A warrant is being requested for a 32-year-old Hart man after he reportedly fled on foot following an assault.
