Drivers suffer ‘non-life-threatening’ injuries in crash

PERE MARQUETTE TOWNSHIP — Two drivers — 21-year-old Branch woman and a 73-year-old Pompano Beach, Florida man — received “non-life-threatening” injuries following a two-vehicle crash at US 10 and Nelson Road Thursday, June 5, shortly before 5 p.m., said Mason County Sheriff Kim Cole

The following is other police activity in Mason County Thursday, June 5, 2025:

• 9:56 a.m., (Mason County Sheriff’s Office), car/deer crash, no injury, US 31 freeway south of the Conrad Road overpass, Amber Township.
• 4:32 p.m., (MCSO), two-vehicle crash, no injury, Stiles Road north of US 10, Amber Township.
• 9:10 p.m., (Ludington Police Department), a 40-year-old St. Paul, Minnesota man was arrested for operating while intoxicated following a traffic stop near Lakeshore Drive and Stearns Outer Drive, City of Ludington. He was lodged in the Mason County Jail.
• 9:49 p.m., (MCSO), car/deer crash, no injury, Chauvez Road east of Schwass Road, Riverton Township.
• 9:58 p.m., (MCSO), car/deer crash, no injury, US 31 south of Dewey Road, Sherman Township.
• 10:47 p.m., (MCSO), car/deer crash, no injury, Stiles Road north of Fountain Road, Victory Township.
