LUDINGTON — The following were recently arraigned in Mason County’s 79th District Court:

Felony

Newman

– David Gene Newman, 52; possession of a controlled substance — methamphetamine/ecstasy; arrested May 3 by Ludington Police Department; arraigned May 14; preliminary hearing: June 4; bail: $10,000/10 percent.

Misdemeanors

– Jordan Jesse Steiger, 28; operating a vehicle with a blood alcohol content of .17 or more; arrested May 4 by Mason County Sheriff’s Office; arraigned May 8; pretrial: June 30; bail: $250 cash.

– Bernard Joe Bovee, 51; second-offense domestic violence and assault & battery; arrested May 3 by Mason County Sheriff’s Office; arraigned May 8; pretrial: June 2; bail: $500 cash.

– Michael Joseph Horvath, 35; operating while intoxicated and transporting open intoxicants; arrested May 3 by Mason County Sheriff’s Office; arraigned May 8; pretrial: June 30; bail: $250 cash.

– Mark Alan Patterson, 66; assault and battery; arrested May 3 by Ludington Police Department; arraigned May 8; pretrial: June 2; bail: $250 cash.

– Sarah Angela Litwiller, 46; malicious use of telecommunications services; arrested July 22, 2024, by Mason County Sheriff’s Office; arraigned May 8; pretrial: June 2; bail: $250 cash.

– Melissa Marie Gomez, 39; truancy; date of offense: March 18; charged by Mason County Sheriff’s Office; arraigned May 8; pretrial: June 2; bail: $250 cash.

– Lori Ann Holden, 46; truancy; date of offense: Feb. 18; charged by Scottville Police Department; arraigned May 8; pretrial: June 2; bail: $250 cash.

– Chassy Renee Lawson, 34; truancy; date of offense: April 9; charged by Mason County Sheriff’s Office; arraigned May 8; pretrial: June 2; bail: personal recognizance.
