Ludington pair arrested in connection to deadly shooting in Muskegon.
MUSKEGON — Michigan State Police troopers and Muskegon County sheriff’s deputies arrested a 33-year-old Ludington man and 24-year-old Ludington woman in connection to a shooting early Monday morning, June 27, that left one man dead.
The pair were arrested following a car chase, according to police, and are lodged in the Muskegon County Jail on several charges.
A 36-year-old Muskegon man died after the shooting around 1:15 a.m. near Houston Avenue and Jefferson Street. He was found dead upon officers’ arrival. An 18-year-old man was also shot and was taken to a nearby hospital where he was listed in stable condition, police said.
The incident remains under investigation.
