Obituary: Elaine C. Nicholson, 86, of Ludington 

Elaine C. Nicholson, 86, of Ludington died Monday, October 14, 2019 after a lingering illness. Elaine was a graduate of South High School, a homemaker, a wonderful Christian lady, and for many years, a member of the Grand Rapids Covenant Church where she was married on December 15, 1956.

She was preceded in death by her parents, brothers, sister, and grandson, Jonathan Carlson. She will be lovingly remembered by her husband, Allen, and her children, Caroline and Carl Carlson, David and Mary Nicholson, Paul and Diane Nicholson, Phillip Nicholson, John and Jennifer Nicholson, 13 grandchildren, her sister-in-law, Jackie Neslon and several nieces and nephews. 

Memorial services will be held on Saturday, October 19, 2019 at 2 p.m. at the Rosedale Chapel with interment at the Rosedale Memorial Park in Grand Rapids, Michigan. Relatives and friends may meet the family one hour prior to the service at the Rosedale Chapel. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be directed to the Grand Rapids Covenant Church.
