Third-offense DWLS arrest tops police activity.

AMBER TOWNSHIP – A 38-year-old Grand Rapids man was arrested by the Mason County Sheriff’s Office for third-offense driving while license suspended following a traffic stop Wednesday, Sept. 25, at 8:30 a.m. on US 10 near Gordon Road, according to Mason County Undersheriff Derrek Wilson.

The following is other recent police activity in Mason County:

Tuesday, Sept. 24, 2019:

– 1:32 a.m., (Ludington Police Department), a 39-year-old Ludington woman was taken into custody at the Newaygo County Jail and transported to the Mason County Jail on a bench warrant for failure to appear in 79th District Court.

Wednesday, Sept. 25, 2019:

– 3:46 a.m., (LPD), a 26-year-old Scottville woman was cited for operating without insurance, South Jackson Road and East Ludington Avenue, City of Ludington.

– 10:05 p.m., (LPD), a 41-year-old Scottville woman was cited for driving with an expired license, 300 block of West Ludington Avenue, City of Ludington.

– 6:55 p.m., (Michigan State Police), car/deer crash, Stiles and Meisenheimer roads, Riverton Township.

– 7:11 p.m., (Mason County Sheriff’s Office), car/deer crash, no injuries, Fountain Road near Darr Road, Sherman Township.

Thursday, Sept. 26, 2019:

– 5:15 a.m., (MCSO), car/deer crash, no injuries, Millerton Road near Schoenherr Road, Sheridan Township.
