U2 tribute band to perform Rhythm and Dunes concert Saturday.
LUDINGTON —The first of two free community West Shore Bank Rhythm and Dunes concerts will take place this Saturday, July 28, at Waterfront Park. The U2 tribute band Hollywood U2, will perform at 7 p.m. The Mason County Central Jazz Band will open the concert at 6 p.m.
Crowds have grown each year with an estimated 10,000 – 12,000 music fans attending last year’s concerts. Last year’s event raised over $12,000 which was donated to local music education programs.
Hollywood U2 brings the look and sound of U2, as well as the band’s true heart, to every performance with precision and excitement. With a set list that spans the band’s entire catalog, the band specializes in delivering the iconic Zoo TV and Vertigo tours to U2 fans.
