The following is recent police activity in Mason County:
Monday, Aug. 24, 2026:
- 8:45 p.m., (Ludington Police Department) a 34-year-old Ludington woman was arrested on a County Mason warrant, 900 block of East Tinkham Avenue, City of Ludington. She was lodged in the Mason County Jail.
- 11:12 p.m., (LPD) a 40-year-old White Cloud man was taken into LPD custody in Newaygo County after he had been arrested on a warrant issued by LPD. He was lodged in the Mason County Jail.
Tuesday, Aug. 25, 2026:
- 3:22 a.m., (Mason County Sheriff’s Office), a 37-year-old Fountain man was arrested for domestic assault and a 33-year-old Walhalla man was arrested on two outstanding Mason County criminal bench warrants for failure to appear after deputies were called to a residence regarding a fight, Martin Avenue, Branch Township. They were both lodged in the Mason County Jail.
- 6:18 a.m., (MCSO), car/deer crash, no injury, US 31 south of Sauble Drive, Free Soil Township.
- 8:57 a.m., (MCSO), car/deer crash, no injury, US 31 freeway north of the Conrad Road overpass, Amber Township.
Wednesday, Aug. 26, 2026:
- 4:51 a.m., (LPD) a 39-year-old Ludington woman was arrested for a bond violation, 400 block of South Washington Avenue, City of Ludington. She was lodged in the Mason County Jail.
