LUDINGTON — Gary Anderson held a narrow lead in the Republican primary for the 101st House District among the eastern Mason County townships Tuesday, winning the combined vote in Branch, Logan and Meade townships.
Unofficial results from the three precincts showed Anderson with 67 votes, followed by Rich Vance with 60, Luke Eising with 49, Jaxon Deur with 48 and Ben Townsend with 20.
Anderson carried Branch Township with 54 votes, while Deur won Logan Township with 24 votes and Vance led Meade Township with nine votes.
The three eastern Mason County townships are the only Mason County municipalities included in the 101st House District. Districtwide results were not yet available Tuesday night.
