LUDINGTON — Miss Ludington Area Ashley McPike will lead a week of engineering-themed crafts for children at the Ludington branch of the Mason County District Library, 217 E. Ludington Ave., beginning Monday, Aug. 3. Ludington Library
The free program will take place Monday, Aug. 3, through Friday, Aug. 7, with activities beginning at 1 p.m. each day. McPike will introduce children to a different engineering discipline each afternoon, including chemical, mechanical, environmental, aerospace and electrical engineering.
The program is designed for children ages 6 to 12. Participants may attend individual sessions or all five days.
All Mason County District Library programs are free. Children younger than 8 must be accompanied by an adult.
