Friday, June 26, 2026:

  • 12:35 a.m., (Mason County Sheriff’s Office), car/deer crash, no injury, US 31 north of Dewey Road, Sherman Township.
  • 8:05 a.m., (MCSO), alarm activation, Grant Township.
  • 8:54 a.m., (MCSO), car/deer crash, no injury, Benson Road north of Hansen Road, Branch Township.
  • 9:15 a.m., (MCSO), damaged property, 6600 block of East First Street, Branch Township. Windows and a door were broken at a cabin some time between Dec. 1, 2025 and June 26, 2026.
  • 2:11 p.m., (MCSO), three-vehicle crash, no injury, US 10 west of Stiles Road, Amber Township.
  • 2:33 p.m., (MCSO), breaking and entering, 1300 block of West Sugar Grove Road, Victory Township. The complainant reported a home that was for sale had been broken into, and various items were stolen.
  • 5:09 p.m., (MCSO), car/deer crash, no injury, Jebavy Drive north of Shagway Road, Hamlin Township.
  • 6:53 p.m., (MCSO), two-vehicle crash, no injury, US 10 west of Brye Road, Amber Township.
  • 9:29 p.m., (MCSO), car/deer crash, no injury, US 31 freeway north of the Conrad Road overpass, Amber Township.
  • 9:30 p.m., (MCSO), car/deer crash, no injury, Countyline Road west of Amber Road, Grant Township.

Saturday, June 27, 2026:

  • 3:10 a.m., (MCSO), a 27-year-old Grand Rapids man was arrested for operating while intoxicated following a traffic stop, US 10 and Nelson Road, Pere Marquette Township. He was lodged in the Mason County Jail. 
  • 8:30 a.m., (MCSO), car/deer crash, no injury, Lenz Road and Pere Marquette Highway, Pere Marquette Township.
  • 9:16 a.m., (MCSO)  a 41-year-old Branch man was arrested on an outstanding felony warrant for possession of dangerous drugs, 1600 block of Goff Road, Branch Township. He was lodged in the Mason County Jail. 
  • 10:37 p.m., (MCSO), car/deer crash, no injury, US 10 east of Gordon Road, Amber Township.

Sunday, June 28, 2026:

  • 1:39 a.m., (Ludington Police Department) a 21-year-old Scottville man was arrested for operating while intoxicated following a traffic stop near Ludington Avenue and Staffon Street, City of Ludington. During that same stop, a 22-year-old Scottville woman was arrested on a warrant issued in Muskegon County. They were lodged in the Mason County Jail.
  • 2:47 a.m., (MCSO), one-vehicle crash, no injury, US 31 north of Hansen Road, Custer Township.
  • 4:38 a.m., (MCSO), one-vehicle rollover crash, no injury, Hansen Road east of LaSalle Road, Amber Township.
  • 4:59 a.m., (LPD), a 55-year-old Kalamazoo woman was cited for second-offense driving while license suspended following a traffic stop near Pere Marquette Highway and 6th Street. 
  • 2:25 p.m., (LPD), a 42-year-old Ludington woman was arrested for domestic assault, 100 block of North Delia Street, City of Ludington. She was lodged in the Mason County Jail.
  • 3:44 p.m., (MCSO), a 47-year-old Free Soil woman was arrested for domestic assault following a 911 call, 9400 block of North LaSalle Road, Grant Township. She was lodged in the Mason County Jail. 
  • 5:34 p.m., (LPD), a 50-year-old Ludington man was arrested for a personal protection order violation, 800 block of East Brother Street, City of Ludington. He was lodged in the Mason County Jail.
  • 10:21 p.m., (MCSO), car/deer crash, no injury, US 31 north of Fountain Road, Sherman Township.

Monday, June 29, 2026:

  • 3:51 a.m., (LPD), a 60-year-old Ludington man was arrested for disorderly conduct, 900 block of North Emily Street, City of Ludington. He was lodged in the Mason County Jail.
