Timothy Blake Moore, 63, of Sterling Heights, formerly Ludington, passed away on Saturday, Dec. 6, 2025, after a courageous battle against ALS.

Tim was born on Jan. 11, 1963, the son of the late Lowell and Bernadette (Malloy) Moore. He was a 1981 graduate of Ludington High School. On Feb. 18, 1984, he married his beloved wife, JoAnn (Steckel) Moore. They shared 41 memorable years together.

Tim was outgoing and funny and was the co-founder of the Facebook group “Vanished Ludington”, which has over 12,000 active members. He was also an avid home brewer.

Tim is survived by his loving wife, JoAnn Steckel Moore; sons, Blake (Brenna) Moore, and Scott (Megan) Moore; grandchildren, Emilia and Vivienne Moore; brothers, David (Christina) Moore, Dan (Amy) Moore; sister, Kim (Dana) Moore; mother-in-law, Sandra Steckel; and nieces and nephews.

Tim was preceded in death by his parents, Bernadette Moore and Lowell Moore; and father-in-law, George Steckel.

A memorial service will be held on Thursday, July 2, at noon, at Grace Funeral Home and Cremation Services, with visitation beginning at 11am at the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to the ALS Association.
