LUDINGTON — The City of Ludington will conduct emergency repairs to the municipal sanitary sewer system at the intersections of South Lavinia and Filer streets and South Lavinia and Foster streets, city officials announced Monday.
According to a public service announcement issued by the city, the work is necessary to address an unexpected sewer system issue and maintain the reliability and integrity of the city’s wastewater collection system.
Residents and motorists can expect temporary lane closures, road closures or detours, traffic delays, construction noise and equipment activity, and temporary access restrictions in the immediate work zone during the repair process.
City officials are urging motorists to use caution when traveling through the area, obey posted traffic control devices, watch for workers and equipment, and allow additional travel time because of potential delays and detours.
