Obituary: Ann Levandoski Bird, 66, of Ludington

June 10, 2026

Ann Levandoski Bird, 66, of Ludington, passed away peacefully on Saturday, May 16, 2026.

Ann was born on Feb. 6, 1960 in Ludington. She was a graduate of Ludington High School and Northern Arizona University. Ann was quick with a laugh, goofy comments or zany antics, and she made friends everywhere she went, especially during her time managing the restaurants at Lincoln Hills Country Club and House of Flavors. She lived with cancer for more than two decades — and we truly mean lived. She was relentlessly upbeat and found joy in adventures big (trips to Australia) and small (winning at Yahtzee). Her strong will, positive view of the world and incredible kindness will remain an inspiration to many.

Ann was preceded in death by her parents, John and Betsy Levandoski; her husband, Garry Bird, of Manjimup, Australia; and her sister, Sara Levandoski Bradley.

She is survived by her niece, Kendra Bradley; stepson Isaac Bird; cousins Karen Nielsen, Laurie Brunk, Kristin Palm, Kara Palm, Penny Russell, Patricia Olson-Hoyer, Kim Trainer, Fred Rathburn and Ted Lemire, along with many second and third cousins; and dear friends Brenda Massie, Kathy Shafer, Cathy Iteen and Colyn Allen, and Kelli, Tim and Rocky Smith.

The family wishes to thank the staff at Oakview Medical Care Facility for caring for Ann so well.

In accordance with Ann’s wishes, the family will hold a private memorial service. Memorial donations may be made to Friends of the Mason County District Library, www.paypal.com/paypalme/mcdlibrary.

Arrangements were entrusted to Grace Funeral Home and Cremation Services, www.GraceCremations.com.
