Suds on the Shore to return Aug. 15 benefiting United Way

June 1, 2026

LUDINGTON — Suds on the Shore, one of West Michigan’s premier craft beverage festivals, will return to Ludington’s Rotary Park on Saturday, Aug. 15, bringing together breweries, wineries, distilleries, food vendors and live entertainment while raising funds for United Way of the West Shore.

The annual event, held along the Lake Michigan shoreline, celebrates Michigan-made craft beverages and has become a longstanding summer tradition in Ludington. Organizers say the festival continues to attract visitors from across West Michigan and beyond while serving as an important community fundraiser.

This year’s festival will take place from noon to 5 p.m. at Rotary Park.

“Suds on the Shore is more than just a tasting festival — it’s a celebration of community, local craftsmanship and everything people love about summer in Ludington,” organizers said in a statement. “Whether you’re a longtime attendee or experiencing it for the first time, the event offers an unforgettable day on the lakeshore.”

Attendees will have the opportunity to sample craft beer, wine, cider, mead and cocktails from beverage makers across Michigan. The event will also feature live music throughout the afternoon, local food vendors and food trucks, and views of the Lake Michigan shoreline.

Tickets include festival admission, tasting tokens and a commemorative sample glass. Organizers encourage attendees to purchase tickets early as demand typically increases during the summer tourism season.

Designated driver tickets will be available at the gate for $10 and include admission to the festival without beverage sampling privileges.

Additional information, including ticket sales, participating vendors, volunteer opportunities and event updates, is available at www.sudsontheshore.com.
